Functionalities of "My Jobs" section in the Time2Staff app

At Time2Staff, we are constantly striving to make the job searching app more user-friendly and efficient. One of the features we've enhanced in the Time2Staff app is the "My Jobs" section.

What Is the "My Jobs" Section?

The "My Jobs" section in the Time2Staff app is your central hub for all job-related activities. It includes everything from confirmed jobs, pending applications, to a complete history of jobs you’ve worked. This section helps you to stay on top of your work schedule and keeping track of past jobs.

Here’s a closer look at the three key components you’ll find in the "My Jobs" section:

1. Pending Applications

If you have applied for a job but haven’t yet received confirmation or rejection, you’ll find these jobs listed under the "Pending Applications" tab. The workplace needs time to review applicants and approve them, and this waiting period can vary.

  • Quick approval: If the job is set to start within the next 24 hours, the workplace will typically approve applicants quickly.

  • Longer waiting times: If the job starts in a week or so, it might take longer for the approval process, but can also be aprroved quickly.

Remember, you can withdraw your application before it’s approved. So, if your plans change and you no longer wish to be considered for a job, it’s best to remove your application as soon as possible. Once you’re approved for a job, you are expected to show up. To withdraw your application, simply tap on the job in your "Pending Applications" list, and you’ll see a big orange button at the bottom of the screen that says “Withdraw Application.” This gives you the flexibility to update your availability and apply again later if needed.


2. Confirmed Jobs

The "Confirmed Jobs" section displays all the jobs you’ve been approved for. You can click on any job to view detailed information, such as the time, location, and job responsibilities. This is your go-to place to check your schedule and prepare for your upcoming shifts. You can also choose between the list view and the calendar view which i smore convinient when it comes to keeping track of your confirmed jobs.



Additionally, you can now check in and check out directly from the "Confirmed Jobs" section. When you arrive at the job site, simply tap the job and select the check-in button to confirm your arrival. When your shift ends, you can also check out in the same way. This feature makes it easier to track your time on the job and ensures that you are properly marked as present and accounted for.

In case you are running late, you can also report a delay by pressing on the job and selecting the "Report Delay" option. This will notify the workplace, so they are aware of your updated arrival time.

3. Job History

The "Job History" section is located on the top right corner of the "My Jobs" screen, behind the clock logo. Here, you can find a detailed list of all the jobs you’ve worked in the past. This feature allows you to track the number of hours worked and revisit any job details you might need. It’s especially helpful for managing your work history and reviewing your performance over time.
